Currently there only a few of our chapter who have registered on the subs website. I would encourage you to register and upload your 60 second well in advance of needing to use the site.

Please remember you may not use other chapter members to sub for you.

Chapter Visits

An excellent week this week. I followed up an invitation from Tony Golley to visit his Aldwych chapter who meet on Wednesday in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Very friendly crowd and a cooked breakfast. Picked up several useful tips.

On Friday I went to West One Chapeter who meet at the lovely BAFTA building in Picaddilly. Very differnet approach to running their meetings. Again a very friendly crowd and made some very useful contacts.

Door Prizes

A quick reminder that on the week that you each do your 10 minute presentation you should bring a small prize, relevent to your industry and up to and not exceeding £10, to be given to someone (drawn at random) who has given a referral that week (as per the token for taxi services that Hugh brought this week and which Darrell won). Thanks

Training/Seminars

A reminder that all the seminars and training events available to BNI members canbe found under the seminars tab at the BNI London site (www.bnilondon.com/training.php). They are generally held at Browns restaurant on St Martin’s Lane in Covent Garden and take place between 7 & 9 am on Monday mornings. If you do attend any training events please remember to get a receipt and BNI Balham will reimburse you for the £10 cost.

1 to 1 Tracker

We are going to start tracking one to one’s. Could you all please submit a list to me by email of everyone you have had a one to one with thus far and keep me updated as and when you have them. Thanks, Katherine

Buddy/Mentoring Scheme

Could you possibly all let Johnny or I have your thoughts on an inter group buddying scheme either via this medium or on Thursday morning. Our initial thoughts are that this would be a way for those who are interested to be either mentored by another member on a regular basis or to use their ‘buddy’ as a general sounding board for ideas on business development.
