Our referrals, "Thank you for the Businesses" and visitor numbers picked up for a second week running. Coming off of a Christmas break and refreshed from the holidays, BNI Balham continues to be the business dynamo of South London business clubs.

The leadership team updated everyone on the status of our publicity campaign as they want 40 members by summertime!

Some of the updates from members 60 seconds were from Andy Mayar of Big Yellow who said they were looking for eBay sellers who needed secure, affordable space to store their products for sale. Len Worrall showed us a small object used to cover and secure 240volt-to-12volt electricity blocks from accidental bridging by hand or tool. This can result in serious injury or death or cause items to catch fire but many builders leave them off if on cabinets or normally out-of-the-way places to save money. This can be very dangerous and is something he, nor any NICEIC electrician, would ever do.

Lee Alley provided our 10 minutes today demonstrating various websites MorganAlley have created (including this one) and the various bits of functionality built into them. Beyond that he showed how applications built into the websites measure the effectiveness of the site as a whole, and/or specific items of content, how site users use the site and how to get more out of a website. Finally he demo'd three ways his sites use social networks to drive traffic to the sites effectively.

Today we had 18 referrals and reported £5,665 worth of business between our members.
